Log Work and Design is a company of two. Steve and Diana have been working together since the mid 1990's. We have done everything from building log homes to making custom furniture. We are excellent wood workers. We do not use sub-contractors. If you hire us to refinish your floors everything is done by Steve and Diana.
Our business is to restore the beauty of wood floors. We have done everything from mansions that are listed on the historic registry to old farm houses that have seen a lot of living. We give every job our absolute best and customize our approach to maximize the results for the homeowner. We stand behind our work each and every time. Steve Vaughan and Diana Smith were accessible, reliable and took their time to explain the costs, what work needed to be done, how to prepare for the work that was going to be done and did what they said they were going to do in the time frame that was given. There was a mishap by my furniture movers and Steve and Diana came to the rescue the very next day. I got estimates from other companies with up to double their price. They made it affordable for my family, did a beautiful job and I highly recommend them to anyone needing their floors refinished.

My hard wood floors were prefinished and worn out from high traffic but after Steve and Diana sanded, stained and varnished the floors, they looked brand new.
